Bridal Party
We thought it would be fun to introduce our bridal party to you, so you can get to know everyone before the big day!
Kate: Woman of Honor
Kate was Mary’s first little sister. Mary can not remember her life before Kate was in it. Kate is the one person Mary wants with her when she is really upset, because Kate has the biggest heart of anyone she knows. Little known fact about Kate: she makes the best chocolate chip cookies in the world.
Phoebe: Woman of Honor
Phoebe is Mary’s littlest sister and Mary remembers the day Phoebe was born as if it were yesterday. People say that Phoebe and Mary are twins born 7 years apart, but they have no idea why people say that, its not like they look alike or anything! Phoebe is infinitely cooler than Mary. Little known fact about Phoebe: She owns a real sword, and she is not afraid to use it.
Laura: Woman of Honor
Mary met Laura at work. After Laura’s interview, Mary told their CEO: “thank you for hiring me a friend.” They have been inseparable ever since. Laura and Mary not only see each other 50 hours a week for work but they also go on many adventures and share a CSA farm share together. They feel like an old married couple. Little known fact about Laura: Laura is an internationally known blogger.
Rebecca: Woman of Honor
Rebecca met Mary in Unitarian Sunday School when they were 9 years old. Mary had long brown silky hair and Rebecca had golden ringlets. Rebecca is beautiful in every way, from her voice to her heart to her soul. Rebecca reminds Mary of their hippie-homeschooling past where they played in the woods and ate health food. Little known fact about Rebecca: her dog’s full name is Fritzgerald Leistikow.
Jason: Best Man
Jeremy first met Jason the day Jason was born, back in 1981. Growing up, Jason was the Mario to Jeremy’s Luigi, the Theodore to his Simon, and the Donatello to his Leonardo. Best of friends their whole lives, Jason is the first person Jeremy goes to when he needs advice on purchasing electronics or plane tickets. Little-known fact about Jason: he hates hand chimes.
Bob: Groomsman
Bob and Jeremy met in the cast of the Fantasticks during their freshman year at BU. The Vermonter and the Minnesotan got along famously, and became roommates and filmmakers over the next few years. Bob also introduced Jeremy to the Gustafsons, who became like a second family. Little-known fact about Bob: he has worked for both American Idol and American Idol Extra.
Joe: Groomsman
Joe and Jeremy met at BU, but became much better friends after graduation, when they ended up sharing a dingy apartment in Brighton for nearly a year. Despite living like above-ground CHUDs, they have each managed to convince a fabulous woman to love them for life. Little-known fact about Joe: he appeared on Jeopardy! and would have won, had he managed to find any Daily Doubles.
Steve: Groomsman
Steve and Jeremy first worked together on their high school newspaper back in the mid-’90s. They have remained friends, sharing the experiences of college in Boston, IM-friendly jobs, and being pleasantly surprised with the Twins…until they get swept in the first round of the playoffs. Little-known fact about Steve: he has interviewed everyone from Ben Affleck to Barney Frank to Alex Trebek.
